THE HISTORY
A story that begins as a hobby and becomes a life project
Horses have been a part of our lives since we were little. My father already had horses, and that daily contact sparked a passion that, over the years, became a project.
The first horse was a pinto pony named INDIO, a very special memory that marked the beginning of everything. Later came other horses, including purebred Arabians, until, later in life, a mare from a military stud farm definitively sparked his interest in breeding.
That’s where it all began.
ROOTS WITH CHARACTER
A family project with its own identity
Yeguada Fuentes González was born as a family project, founded together with our children, with a clear objective: to breed our own specimens of Pure Spanish Breed and take them to morphological competition.
From the beginning, we wanted the stud farm to have its own identity. That’s why we designed our brand, made up of our children’s initials, a symbol that represents what this project truly is: family, commitment, and continuity.
Yeguada Fuentes González is the result of a life linked to the horse, a family project built over time and a way of understanding breeding based on respect, selection and passion.

Specializing in Purebred Spanish Horses
We are dedicated to breeding Purebred Spanish Horses (PRE), a breed that stands out for its nobility, elegance and functional capacity.
We breed gray and bay horses, selected with special attention to temperament, health, and movement ability, always striving for a well-rounded and balanced horse. We primarily work with bloodlines such as Ferrero, Monis, and Marín García, but we are open to considering other stallions that may contribute interesting qualities.
Every decision is made with a clear objective: to improve generation after generation.

A property with its own history
The stud farm is located in Vilanova de la Barca, in a quiet and natural environment a few minutes from Lleida.
The farm, formerly used for cattle ranching, has been part of our history for years. I worked there as a young man, before we owned it.
Over time, we have gradually transformed and adapted it until it became what it is today: the home of the stud farm and also our home.
